Dewey Bollinger has been involved in music since the 1950s. He played guitar and sang in bands
with his friends and relatives. He and his sweetheart, Virginia Spears married in 1958. Together
they have three sons, Anthony, Eddie and John. Dewey and his sons traveled to the extended
area churches & other concerts making music that would take Dewey & his family into the 21st
century.

Dewey and Virginia (affectionately named "Pop" and "Granny") had taken many vacations to
Branson, MO when their boys were young and they instantly fell in love with the family musical
theatres there. The family vacationed there often, making wonderful friends and lasting
memories along the way. After many years of visiting surrounding churches, playing and singing
the music they all loved so much, they decided to open a musical theatre in their own home town.

They renovated an old furniture storage warehouse and built a temporary stage complete with a
hand-drawn curtain and metallic streamers as the background. There were 152 theatre seats
installed and a concession stand in the corner to buy popcorn or drinks.

After six months in the theatre, they realized that this is a show that people can enjoy more of, so
it was time to remodel. The show closed for 3 months while the theatre underwent a
"make-over".  June 2004, the new theatre opened its doors with seating for 357 people and every
seat was filled.  Our family and friends, along with the band members were all excited about the
new theatre.

James "Duck" Drake, from Greenville, MS is a master of the sound system.  Colby Bollinger
performs a light show that's a joy to watch on its own. In the product booth, where you can buy
t-shirts, hats, caps, Bubba hats & teeth (along with many other items), you'll find Mrs. Juanita
Morgan, Les' wife.  In the concession stand, you can get popcorn, candy or soft drinks from
"Granny" and Mrs. Brenda Sewell, Junior's wife.  When you arrive at the theatre, Karen will be
at the desk as you walk in.  If you've reserved your tickets, Karen will have these at the door for
you, or if you haven't reserved your seats, you can purchase them at the door.

Just come on in, sit for a spell, and enjoy your night with good company, good friends, lots of
laughter and Old-Time Country & Southern Gospel Music.
About Us
Since opening the theatre in 2003, we have tried to advertise in many different ways. Any way that we thought
that people might see or hear about us.  We have entered ads in newspapers, on the radio, and had articles
featured on us in the Exploring Calhoun County & Mississippi Magazine(s). We appeared on The Morning Show
with Kaye Bain, as well as this website on the World Wide Web - and one thing has become apparent to
us......You can never beat the advertisement of "Word of Mouth". When we have visitors come and enjoy
themselves then tell others about us - It just can't be beat!! So, if you come to the show and enjoy it, please pass
the word along to one of your friends or family that might enjoy it as well. We promise to treat them right!
